One of the major improvements in 3.9.0 R5 is the introduction of the new PayPal Checkout System, which essentially collapses all PayPal methods into one system. This global payments solution will allow you to accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo (US only), local payment methods, and credit/debit cards in 50+ markets all through the PayPal Checkout gateway.
