This release includes well over 100+ updates, fixes and improvements in this release and is strongly recommended. Plus the most recent version of PayPal Checkout. PayPal Checkout is a global payments solution that will allow you to accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo (US only), local payment methods, and credit/debit cards in 50+ markets. With this new integration you can automatically show your customers relevant payment options designed to help drive sales.
If store is currently using any PayPal method, this will be a two-step upgrade process.
Stores not using PayPal
For carts on version 3.9 and above, simply login to your PinnacleCart control panel and select the "Updates Are Available" button on the top right.
Continue updating your store until you are on version 3.9.0 R5. Depending on the version you are on, this could require multiple updates. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
Stores using PayPal
As outlined above, this is a two-step process. The first step will be to upgrade to the latest version of PinnacleCart.
Please note: Update does not support PayPal for recurring billing. If you are using PayPal for recurring orders, we recommend you wait until the next release.
Before you begin this process be sure to close/fulfill any currently open orders. The new PayPal system collapses all PayPal methods into one system called PayPal Checkout. Once you upgrade, the refund, void, capture functionality for order placed before this update will be available only via PayPal console.

- Once you have updated your store, you will need to login to the store and re-enable PayPal. Enter in your PayPal credentials and your PayPal account will automatically upgrade.
Stores on versions below 3.9
