We have a lot of customers who like to track site visitors and how many checkouts were there. This can be achieved by adding code from Google, Facebook, etc to your Thank You page. This can be used for Conversion Tracking, Audience Pixel, etc. This article will give you a walkthrough on where to place that code and how to get it in there.

Note: This code is mainly for SEO and tracking purposes. This code allows you to place a single pixel or line of code across your entire website to report conversions, build audiences, and get rich insights on how your customers visit your site.

First, find the file in which we are going to be making a copy. The file is completed.html.
1. Login to your cart admin, then click Settings > Advanced settings > File manager.
2.. Navigate to your file manager via [cart root] > content > engine > design-rework > templates > pages > checkout
3. Open completed.html then make a copy of the file on your local computer. Save it in your documents and name it completed.html.
4. Upload this file back into your File Manager to a different path via
[cart root] > content > skins > _custom > skin > templates > pages > checkout by clicking the Upload File button.
Once you're done, you can then move on to the next part and add the code.
Now that you have completed.html saved to the correct area, you can add the code. A good practice is to copy the code that is in the file and paste it into a Notepad (preferably Notepad++ or Sublime text) first.
Your code will roughly look like on the screenshot below:
Now you have the code in the text document, press CTRL+A on your keyboard to highlight the full document then CTRL+C to copy. Go into the admin of the cart where you have the file uploaded and press CTRL+A again to highlight and CTRL+V to paste over the old code.
After you paste your code in, hit Save. Check your “_custom” directory for the same file and add the code there (if it exists).
Your Code has now been placed.
